Timothy G. Brown | Principal Consultant

Tim has been an acoustical consultant with Charles M. Salter Associates, Inc. since 2004. He specializes in the areas of environmental and architectural acoustics and vibration. His projects include the testing and analysis of vehicular and rail induced noise and vibration near public and commercial developments.

Tim has been involved in a number of very important projects that take in the breadth of his knowledge and skills. These projects include evaluating environmental noise for the San Jose Solari Library and Livermore Performing Arts Center and the assessment of noise and vibration environments for low‑temperature scanning tunneling microscopes at UC San Diego and Stanford University. Recently, Tim was involved with the acoustical testing and design for a new audiovisual theater to be constructed aboard the USS Midway in San Diego.
